
Madhura comes with extensive experience in the development sector. Previously, she worked with GivingTuesday, spearheading the strategic content and dissemination plan for the #BornGenerous 3.0 storytelling campaign, focused on driving community participation through user-generated content and amplifying visibility across key platforms.
Madhura has also served as Director of Programs and Growth at Haiyya Foundation, overseeing leadership development and capacity building initiatives, leading flagship programs, donor management, and multi-year strategy planning. Her earlier roles include Communications Officer at the Centre for Policy Research and Associate in the Communications & Fundraising Team at Pratham Education Foundation.
At New Concept Information Systems, she was a core member of the copy and design team, creating content and print materials for organizations such as UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, and DFID, while also documenting project information and coordinating photo and video shoots. At NRDC India, Madhura leads the work on NRDC’s flagship event Global Heat and Cooling Forum.
Madhura holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Child Guidance Certificate from IGNOU, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History (Honors) from Miranda House, Delhi University. She has also completed Harvard Kennedy School's Executive Education program in Leadership, Organizing, and Action.
