Anshima is an Environmental Data Scientist with extensive experience using data, geospatial analytics, and machine learning to drive environmental solutions. Prior to NRDC India, she worked with global organizations such as Walmart Global Tech, ACES Power Marketing, and Nebulous Business Solutions, where she developed predictive models for climate resilience, energy planning, and weather stochastics. She has also conducted climate research for the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, focusing on improving fog forecasting in India.
At NRDC India, Anshima leverages her interdisciplinary skills to support climate and environmental projects, with a particular focus on heat resilience, air quality, and sustainable development initiatives.
She holds two Master’s degrees – one in Geo Data Science from Purdue University (USA) and the second in Atmospheric Sciences from Savitribai Phule Pune University and got her Bachelor's in Physics from the Delhi University. With a love for both numbers and nature, Anshima is committed to bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and everyday impact.
