Amitosh has over a decade of experience in decarbonization and climate change mitigation. In his previous role, he served as a Senior Manager in the Climate, Economics, and Finance Program at the World Resources Institute, India. He also held the position of Deputy Director in the Energy Management Division at the National Productivity Council in Gujarat, an organization under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, where he focused on energy efficiency and environmental management in industries.
Amitosh holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a postgraduate certificate in Energy Management, and a postgraduate degree in management and public policy from IIM Bangalore.
His research spans environmental management, including green skills assessment, co-benefits, and the distributional impacts that support a just transition among MSME sectors. He has also authored blogs, and his coauthored research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
